John, “god of all things MTB” Tomac designed this series of tires and named it after a famed course in Italy where he romped on his competition. The raison d’etre of the tire is to ride well in the loose, the hard, and everything in between. The Kenda Nevegal UST Tire fulfills this mission completely. We find the Nevegal to be the best tire in wet, rooted, and rocky conditions. The 2.35″ version uses Kenda’s DTC (Dual Tread Compound). It has their Stick-E compound on the shoulders for excellent steep-lean traction. This is a super soft rubber that yields great grip, and the slow-rebound nature of this famed tree-sap solid acts as a suspension element. A harder, longer-wearing rubber is used down the center. The 2.1 ” tires use the same firmer rubber compound over the entirety of the tread. This gives them a durability that cross-country/trail riders will appreciate. Using a fluid-based sealant product in any Kenda tire will void the warranty. The Kenda Nevegal UST tire is offered in 2.1″ and 2.35″ widths. Both sizes use a Kevlar bead for weight savings. 880g (2.1).Application: XC USTGround: All ConditionsTubeless 101: The Why and the How Explained.
